Check the safety of
your work area
following your company safety
practices. Prepare the fibers and organizer tray so that they are convenient
and do not expose the fibers to potential damage.
Step 2 – Tools and material
Set out the necessary tools and materials.
This includes: Light bridge splices, installation tool, cleaver (per local standard). Coating strippers (per local standard) fiber wipes, and solvent.
Position the installation tool securely on a stable surface. If a tripod is available, secure the tool to the tripod using the screw adapter in the base of the tool.
